Opened in 1920 to honor our veterans and fallen heroes, the Lake City Community Memorial Building is a historic landmark that has served our community for over a century. Recently restored beyond its original splendor, this historic landmark offers a captivating interior, modern conveniences, and a capacity to host 475 guests, making it the perfect venue for creating unforgettable memories. Hannah is the Community Memorial Building Manager and a part-time stay-at-home mom with a knack for turning event dreams into reality. Hannah's marketing knowledge can help showcase your event and her event planning experience will ensure it runs smoothly. Hannah brings creativity and enthusiasm to your planning process, taking the stress off your shoulders.

Rental packages vary in price from $75 to $2,000. Local non-profit organizations may use the building at no cost. A refundable deposit is required for all users. We offer an array of additional services including:

The Friends of the Community Memorial Building, founded in 2020, is a non-profit organization comprised of dedicated community volunteers that has led the restoration of this historic landmark. They are committed to preserving the building as a tribute to those who have served in the military while ensuring it remains a vibrant gathering place for everyone.
